In October 2021, Birdon announced the completion and delivery of the 300th Bridge Erection Boat (BEB) to the United States Army. Despite the on-going challenges presented by COVID-19, the Birdon team maintained its Full Rate Production (FRP) delivery schedule of seven BEBs per month.
Birdon continues to receive excellent feedback from the US Army on its performance on this project, and once again achieved the highest rating possible of “exceptional” in all 3 major categories of Quality, Schedule, and Management in the Army’s latest Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR).
